The concept is simple, turn up at the Duthie park car park in Aberdeen and register and run the first section of the Deeside way to Banchory, check in with marshall, turn round and run back.
Total distance out and back is 33 miles.
A 53 mile multi-terrain ultra run along the West Highland Way, from Milngavie to Tyndrum.
– The 2013 Fling is confirmed as a 2 point qualifier for The North Face® Ultra-Trail du Mont-Blanc® and an official qualifier for the Western States Endurance Race 2013 & 2014.
Essentially the object of the West Highland Way Race is simple. You start at Milngavie Railway Station (7miles north of Glasgow) at 1am on Saturday 22nd June 2013 & run/jog/walk to Fort William Leisure Centre by noon on the Sunday 23rd June 2013, 35 hours to cover 95 miles including 14,760ft of ascent.

43 Mile footrace which begins at Tyndrum (Perthshire) and finishes in Fort William (Highlands). Each competitor has 12 hours to complete the course which follows the latter part of the “West Highland Way”.
Enduring a trail circuit of 4 miles for 24hrs straight. The race loop is 4 miles long and the majority of it is run on wide forest trails and landrover tracks. The Glenmore 24 Trail Race takes place in the Scottish Highlands, in The Cairngorms National Park. Glenmore Forest is located just outside Aviemore.
